Its here! My brand new bouncing baby radio show! Its off to a great start and I LOVE hanging with comics and watching them go! Its as simple as open up a topic and away it goes. The first episode featured Tim Steeves . A seasoned, respected and incredible stand up and writer on the Mercer Report. What a great discussion. It was candid and fascinating. Everything I wanted the show to be! Then Andrew Johnson and Dini Dimakos joined in for an amazing panel discussion on everything from joke stealing to which venues are best for stand up. THIS is what was needed on terrestrial radio. An opportunity to hear comics in a social setting and we all get to listen in to what they talk about. And of course, with the talent of comics, their ability to improvise and go with the flow is incredible. I had no problems convincing the amazing people at AM640 and Corus that this who will be anything but entertaining.
The, next show was incredible too. Maggie Cassella joined by pals Shannon McDonough and Katie Ford! What a treat! These women have so much experience ! Maggie is a seasoned tv and radio show host and writer, Shannon is an actress and tv producer, Katie Ford an accomplished writer with such hits as Miss Congeniality and Family Ties!
I promise you all that every show will be dynamic, exciting , entertaining and you will laugh. That's what its all about. JUST LAUGH!
Thank goodness for my Producer Vince Tedesco, whom I met at Second City classes many moons ago. He is just as much as a comedy fan as I , so its easy for us to research the show because we love it so much. Plus I told Vince working in radio will get him laid big time. Dudes in radio always get the chicks. Our little producer Zak the snack is also doing his part and enjoying the ride. When you have a team like that, you can't go wrong!
This Sunday's show is a treat too! Its the East Coast boys---- me love it! I told the boys when I'm around East Coast dudes, its like Kim Kardashian around black guys---can't help it! Tune in every week!
